After much deliberation, we have decided to increase our annual membership dues. This is the first time we have increased our membership cost since the inception of Patuxent Babywearing in 2018! This adjustment is essential to ensure that we can continue to deliver the high-quality programs and resources that our members expect and deserve.
Effective Date: March 1, 2026
New Annual Dues Amount: $45
Previous Annual Dues Amount: $30
If you are not currently a member, but would like to become one before March 1, 2026, you will be able to join at the current membership rate of $30.
We are committed to supporting and promoting safe babywearing practices, and we are excited to share some of the specific benefits membership will continue to provide:
- Educator Training: Provide volunteer educators with more training to better support our free monthly babywearing meetings.
- Updated Carrier Library: Refresh our carrier library with the latest carriers from brands committed to promoting safe babywearing practices.
- Free Education Meetings: Keep providing free monthly babywearing education meetings to the community.
- Build Community: Opportunities to connect with other local parents and caregivers at babywearing meetings.
